I'm craving your attention (just as 

a desert cries for water)

your prescence is the throb my 

heart beats to

But

There is a numbness in me that is keeping

me awake and an ache that no 

medicine can

exterminate.

I've lost the parts of me that only you could

coerce together, now I'm incomplete

just like a puzzle with missing pieces

Now the oceans in my eyes have broken

through the hedges of my eyelids

and with each blink

I am drowning more due to the

tsunami you brought into them.

The other half of my heart has been

dropped challenger deep 

in the ocean
